Installation Update: Denmark Water Treatment Plant.
The last week of March saw the ‘AUSPAN Roof Lift’ of the new Denmark Water Treatment Plant building. It is now being fitted out internally by other contractors before AUSPAN returns to site to complete our scope of works.
It is interesting to note that AUSPAN has supplied structural steel buildings into 16 water treatment plant projects during the past 6 years.
We welcome any enquiry regarding related projects so we can bring our experience to the table in assisting your successful project delivery.
New Contracts Update.
The teams at AUSPAN are busy with a number of new projects signed up recently.
AUSPAN have recently completed the new Power Station Generator Building for Zenith Pacific at the Sirius Resources Nova Nickel Power Station Project(pictured below) and are now pleased to announce that we have secured the contract for proceeding with the Power Station Generator Building for the Northern Star Resources Jundee Power Station Project.
Keep your eyes out for more details and project case studies on these projects.
AUSPAN are also pleased to have been awarded the contract for Iluka Resource’s new Storage Facility(conceptual design pictured below) which is due for delivery next month.
Fodder Storage Tax Advantage for farmers.
DID YOU KNOW?
Last year on May 12, the Federal Treasurer announced $70 million for
farmers to encourage drought preparedness. The Government will provide an immediate tax deduction for water facilities and allow farmers to depreciate over three years capital expenditure on fodder storage assets. This was originally commencing on July 1 2016.
At the National Press Club in Canberra on May 27, Hon Barnaby Joyce, Minister for Agriculture, and the Hon Bruce Billson, Minister for Small Business confirmed the program would now be in effect from May 12 2015.
What does this mean for you?
Australian farmers can now claim a tax deduction on all capital expenditure on water facilities, fodder storage assets and fencing incurred since the 2015 Budget was handed down at 7:30pm on 12 May 2015.
