Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Ag Inform for December.

Ag-Survey-2024-Header2

We begin the final Inform for the year with a reminder that the closing date for the annual AUSPAN survey is Friday 13 December, with the winners to be announced the following week. This year’s survey is much smaller than last year’s so you can complete it in just a few minutes. Also, a reminder that we are giving away $500 Ultimate Gift Cards to 10 lucky survey respondents, so if you haven’t completed the survey yet, you still have time to provide us with your feedback, and of course also go into the draw to win one of those fantastic gift cards! Just click on the button below and good luck!

Holiday Updates

The holidays are fast approaching so we wanted to let you know some important dates for the festive season. Our last day of the year will be Friday December 20 and we’ll be back ready to kick-off the new year on Monday January 6.

AUSPAN's All-New Voortman Beam Line

Last week we posted a video about a new piece of technology that we recently installed in our Gnowangerup manufacturing plant. This new machinery is a Voortman Beam Line beam processing machine and is another example of AUSPAN’s commitment to maintaining our position as the leading agricultural shed builder in WA. In this short video, AUSPAN Director and Facility Manager of our Gnowangerup plant Caleb Richardson takes us through the benefits that this high-spec machine provides, not only to the AUSAPN team, but more importantly, to our valued clients as well.

Case Stud: Shearing Shed for WA Hinkley & Co.

A few months ago, we filmed a case study showcasing a 32m x 15m x 4.5m shearing shed recently completed for Kane Hinkley in Jackitup, near AUSPAN’s headquarters in Gnowangerup. This shed features wall shutters and roof ventilation, plastic grating, a covered lean-to for dry storage, full lighting, and wide access doors. We’ve recently returned to see it in action, and in this brief video, Ben MacFarlane from Frankland River Shearing Services gives us a tour, highlighting how ‘sheds like this make a tough job much easier.

32 x 21 x 9.75m Grain Fodder Shed in Dalyup

And now it’s time to take a look at the final selection of completed sheds for 2004, and first we’re heading just to the west of Esperance and this 32x21x9.75m grain fodder shed for Wes Graham. This shed features 4 x 8m bays and a 32x15m lean-to for increased storage.

From Dalyup we have a six and a half hour drive north west to Goomaling and this 32x18x6.65m machinery shed with a 16m girder truss for clearspan opening for Damiel Dempster.
