5 June 2023
Hey everyone, and welcome to the AUSPAN Ag Inform for June.
There’s only one thing on everyone’s mind right now, and no, it’s not sheds. It’s rain. We’re recording this on the first of June and in the past 48 hours we’ve seen some fairly widespread rain, so fingers crossed there’s more to come.
One of the posts we published on our social media channels last month seems to have really resonated with our audience, so I thought I’d highlight and expand upon it in this month’s Inform, just to give you a bit more insight into how we design and construct ag sheds all over WA.
Here’s some video footage taken by one of our road train drivers, Raj. We have a fleet of these that together transported roughly three and a half thousand tons of steel approximately 240,000 kms around WA in the last 12 months. And just in case you’re wondering, the total number of wheels on this monster is a whopping 54!
We’re continually adding to our transport fleet and here are some images of a few brand new trailers that have just arrived.
Ok, it’s time for a half-decent segway. From monster trucks to monster sheds, not bad? And let’s head 300 K’s south east from Perth to Broomehill, where we’ve just completed this 56 x 21 x 7 meter multipurpose shed.
About a 3 hour drive east from Broomehill and we’ve got another big one. This Lean-To is in Ravensthorpe and is 40 x 24 x 7.7 meters.
Now as you might expect, we’ve got so many great clients that we love working with, but Tony Colotti from Brookrise is definitely one of our favourites. We’ve been building sheds for Tony even before we were called AUSPAN. Back in the day we were called Auspex Steel!
And since then we’ve completed five projects for Tony and hopefully, we’ll get the opportunity to continue working with Tony for many years to come.
This latest shed for Tony is located about 85 K’s north of Perth in Neergabby and is a 720m2 machinery shed extension to an existing structure, taking the total area under cover to over 3000m2!
Earlier in the Inform I mentioned our social media channels. If you haven’t already done so, feel free to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and or LinkedIn, and catch up with many of the other things that go on here at AUSPAN that don’t necessarily end up on our monthly Inform. For a start you will also see some of the projects that our commercial division get involved with, as well as progress reports, industry news and some of the fun things we get up to as a team.
