It was great to catch up with so many of you at the recent field days events, including at the Bringing Dowerin downtown event in Perth! While it’s always good to talk to people in the market for a new shed, it’s just as rewarding for us to catch up with farmers we’ve worked with in the past and swap a few stories along the way. Here’s one of our ag sales specialists Nev catching up with some happy AUSPAN farmers.
Following on from last year’s highly successful inaugural event, the Dowerin Machinery Field Days team held their Bring Dowerin downtown Lunch at the Crown Ballroom in Perth on Tuesday 29 August. The event was another great opportunity for more than 600 farmers, corporate leaders and government representatives to network and share valuable agricultural industry information. As major sponsors of the Dowerin Machinery Field Days, AUSPAN were there on the day, and we are fully behind this great initiative to further increase the profile of the WA agricultural industry both now and in the years to come.
First up for this month and we have identified some random quality issues with some white powder coated 150mm downpipe saddles. Please check your shed and although there are no structural defects or safety issues associated with these items, if your project is affected, please don’t hesitate to notify us via the link below, and we’ll arrange for replacements to be shipped to you asap.
Below are two clamps with the rust affected one on the left.
Ok, it’s shed time and this week we’re kicking off with this 40 x 30 x 7m machinery shed located 200k’s northeast of Perth at Wongan Hills.
If you jump in the car and head just 40 mins east from Wongan Hills, you’ll find another new machinery shed. This one (above) is located at Yerecoin and is 32 x 21 x 6m.
And about 230Ks southeast of Yerecoin is South Tammin, and it seems like machinery sheds were certainly popular in August, because here’s another one and it stands at 48 x 21 x 7m.
Moving on from this month’s sheds and due to the increased production capacity of our new Gnowangerup facility, we are still able to install your new shed prior to Christmas, but you’ll need to be quick as there are only a handful of pre-Christmas build slots left.
And just for something different this month we thought we’d finish by celebrating our great state and share a couple of non-shed images, just because, well, just because team AUSPAN get out and about all over WA and our team chat often includes some nice pictures that we’d like to share!
The first is a paddock of canola taken approximately 130Ks east of Perth at Meckering, while the second is a view of the Stirling Ranges taken around 350Ks southeast of Perth at Lake Toolbrunup.
So that’s it for the September Inform. Have a great September and we’ll catch up again next month!
