Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Industrial Inform for Q3.
The project for our client Offroad Trucks Australia is coming to fruition this quarter so we’re looking forward to providing you with a case study on this project soon. Upon completion this new build will consist of a 2,000m2 workshop, a 2,200m2 warehouse, and over 1,000m2 of offices for a total of 5,240m2 of industrial development, as well as another 8,500m2 of external paving and hardstand.
Speaking of case studies, this is a recently published project we did for our client Shermac in Dalwallinu, which is located around 250km’s northeast of Perth. Shermac is an engineering firm that focuses on providing high quality, engineered for purpose mobile equipment to the mining, civil and commercial sectors. This project is a 42.5x32.5x13m heavy fabrication workshop that has been designed to accommodate 50 tone gantry cranage capacity and the significant hook height required to safely and efficiently lift and turn the heavy modules that the Shermac team produce. Feel free to click the link below to see the chat we had with Shermac’s Chief Operating Officer Steve Ray.
Staying north of Perth and things are progressing well at our latest Dongara Marine project in Geraldton. We say latest because as you can see from the footage, this is the third boat building facility we have built for Managing Director Rohan Warr and his team. As are many people and businesses that AUSPAN build with, Rohan is a repeat client, so as Dongara Marine continues on an upward trajectory, we’re able to assist him in their growth journey.
Next up is the construction of a new hub for our TFMXpress client in High Wycombe. Once completed this project will consist of a 3,000m2 distribution centre, a 250m2 office, and cantilevered canopy cover to loading docks, to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of materials. In the last few weeks, we have commenced work on the internal fit out, as well as the roofing and the wall cladding.
And last but by no means least we have another of our repeat clients in DFE Logistics, and their warehouse project in Kenwick. Once complete, this project will consist of 2,800m2 of warehouse and office building, along with nearly 5,000m2 of external concrete hardstanding and car parking. Since we recorded this footage, we have finished the cladding and commenced the pouring of the inside warehouse concrete slab.
So that’s it for this quarter’s edition of the AUSPAN Industrial Inform. Make sure you keep an eye out for that Offroad Trucks case study, stay safe, and we look forward to updating you again in October.
