Hello and welcome to the AUSPAN Industrial Inform for Q4.
We’re going to begin this edition with a case study we completed recently for our Forrestdale-based client Offroad Trucks Australia. After commencing the build in July 2023, we handed over the keys to a very happy Managing Director Amber Gaden in August. As the leading importer and distributor for TATRA Trucks in Australia, Offroad Trucks was running its operations across three buildings in three areas of Perth, which as you can imagine presented a unique set of issues.
After a recommendation from one of AUSPAN’s repeat clients, CJD Equipment, Amber choose AUSPAN to construct a brand-new premises that would consolidate all her company’s operations under one roof. The result is over 4,500m2 of building area which includes 1000m2 of offices, 2000m2 of warehouse, 1,500m2 workshop space and over 8,000m2 of external hardstand, so take a look at this project case study to find out more about her journey. She’s also got some great advice for anyone looking to build a new industrial building, which our clients often find very helpful!
We recently posted about a couple of progress reports for projects that are nearing completion. The first of these is TFMXpress, one of the leading providers of national “door-to-door” road express & priority air services within Australia. This project is in High Wycombe and once completed, will feature 2,800sqm of warehouse, 6,300sqm of hardstand and 200sqm of office space.
The second update is for our client Direct Freight Express (DFE). With over 40 depots Australia wide DFE specialises in a seamless road freight express delivery service. This project is in Kenwick and will consist of 2,800m2 of warehouse, 65m2 of offices and 5,000m2 of external hardstand.
Moving on now to a couple of new projects that have just commenced, both of which are in the Albany region.
The first of these is in Albany and is a warehouse and showroom for MM Electrical Merchandising, while the second is a rural supplies depot for Delta Agribusiness and is in Wellstead, approximately one hour northeast of Albany.
As you can see from the images both projects are in their very early stages, with earthworks having commenced for MM Electrical and council approvals having now been granted for commencing Delta’s build.
We’ve got several projects reaching completion before the end of the year, and some exciting projects coming online for 2025 so keep a look out for further case studies as these projects progress.
That’s it for this quarter’s edition of the AUSPAN Industrial Inform. Stay safe, and we look forward to updating you again next year.
